Integrate MoveLab®
Add objective movement analysis to the platform you already have.
Keep your existing user experience, brand and customer relationship. Your platform sends movement data to MoveLab and receives structured movement results back.
Integration model
How an integration works
MoveLab is designed for application-to-application integration. Your platform owns the participant experience; MoveLab performs the movement analysis and returns structured results.
Submit
Your application sends movement data through an authenticated API request.
Analyse
MoveLab® Engine processes the data and derives movement metrics.
Return
Structured results are returned in the API response or via webhook.
Use
You display, store or act on the results inside your own product.
Your application
Your own app, portal or device workflow
Authenticated API request
Movement data submitted securely
MoveLab hosted analysis API
Request validated and queued
MoveLab® Engine
Movement analysis and metric derivation
Structured results
Standardised movement metrics
API response / webhook
Returned synchronously or on completion
Your application
Displayed, stored or acted on in your product
Designed for partners
Built for application-to-application integration
You keep the front end
Your app, your branding, your participant journey.
Structured outputs
Standardised movement metrics rather than raw traces to interpret.
No movement analysis to build
No in-house signal processing, validation or model development.
Fits existing data flows
Results can be stored, displayed or pushed into your own analytics.
Synchronous or asynchronous
Response on completion, or a webhook when analysis finishes.
Scales with your product
Usage grows with your platform rather than a clinic-by-clinic rollout.
Access and security
Authenticated, controlled API access
Integrations use authenticated access with usage controls appropriate to the deployment. Detailed documentation and example payloads are shared with partners during scoping.
Authenticated access
Partner-scoped credentials issued per integration environment.
Usage and rate controls
Request limits and usage visibility appropriate to the deployment.
Verifiable webhooks
Completion callbacks your platform can verify before processing.
Build versus integrate
Why integrate rather than build?
Movement analysis is not only a software problem. It requires signal processing, method development, comparison against reference methods and ongoing maintenance as devices change.
Faster to market
Add movement outcomes to your product without a multi-year development programme.
Existing technical evidence base
Draw on published validation work behind MoveLab's movement measures.
Lower maintenance burden
Device and platform changes are handled on the MoveLab side.
Focus on your own value
Spend engineering effort on the part of the product only you can build.
Population-, protocol- or intended-use-specific evidence may still be required for your own implementation.
Initial focus
Starting with smartphone sensor-based gait analysis
The initial integration focus is smartphone sensor-based gait analysis: spatiotemporal gait parameters derived from data captured on a standard smartphone. Other MoveLab measures are available through the hosted platform, and further integration capabilities are developed with partners based on demand.
Regulatory and deployment requirements depend on the intended use and implementation.
Gait analysis via API
- Spatiotemporal gait parameters
- Captured on patient-owned smartphones
- No app download required in the hosted workflow
- Structured, comparable outputs across sessions
No participant workflow yet?
We can host the capture workflow too
If you do not have an existing way to get participants or patients through an assessment, MoveLab can provide the browser-based capture workflow alongside the analysis — so you can start collecting movement data before building anything yourself.
Next step
How would you like to use MoveLab®?
Add movement analysis to a platform you already have, or use the MoveLab platform to deliver assessments directly.
